Balrog Terms of Service

These Balrog Terms of Service supplement the general IMBox terms and govern use of the Balrog desktop AI assistant and its connectors. Balrog is provided by SPOTBROS TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. By installing, accessing or using Balrog, you agree to these terms and confirm that you have authority to accept them for yourself or your organisation.

If these product-specific terms conflict with the general IMBox terms, these terms apply to the use of Balrog. If you do not agree, do not use Balrog or connect a third-party account.

Balrog is a desktop AI assistant that lets users work with local projects and authorised services. Its Google Workspace connectors can search, read, prepare and, when permitted, change Gmail, Google Drive and Google Calendar data in response to a user's request.

Features, supported providers and limits may change as the service evolves. Your organisation may restrict or disable particular connectors, permissions or actions.

You are responsible for the IMBox, OpenAI, Google and other accounts you connect, for keeping them secure and for ensuring that you are authorised to use their data. Balrog requests Google permissions through Google's OAuth consent flow and operates only within the access granted by Google, your organisation and the connector configuration.

You may disconnect a Google Account in Balrog or revoke access through Google at any time. Revoking access may prevent related features from working.

You decide what to ask Balrog and remain responsible for reviewing its output. AI-generated text, summaries and proposed actions may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not replace professional, legal, medical, financial or security advice.

Before approving a change, you must review recipients, files, events, permissions and other material details. You are responsible for actions confirmed through your account, including messages sent and data created, changed, moved to the bin or deleted.

You must use Balrog lawfully and in accordance with your organisation's policies.

You retain ownership of content you provide or access through connected services. You grant SPOTBROS the limited rights necessary to process that content solely to operate, secure and support Balrog as described in the Balrog Privacy Policy.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required to provide content to Balrog and to instruct Balrog to process or change it.

Balrog depends on third-party services, including Google APIs, Codex and OpenAI. Their availability, account requirements, policies and service limits are controlled by those providers. Your use of those services remains subject to the terms and privacy policies you have with them.

Balrog does not use Google Workspace APIs or Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised or non-personalised artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, and SPOTBROS does not permit its processors to use Google user data for those purposes.

Google is not responsible for Balrog. SPOTBROS is not responsible for outages, account restrictions or changes caused by a third-party provider, although we will take reasonable steps to keep Balrog's integrations working securely.

Balrog is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, SPOTBROS does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, the accuracy of AI-generated output or continued availability of a third-party integration.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that limitation, SPOTBROS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss caused by an unreviewed AI output, or loss caused by unauthorised or incorrect instructions submitted through the user's account.

You may stop using Balrog and disconnect connected accounts at any time. SPOTBROS may suspend access when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, a security risk, breach of these terms or a requirement imposed by a provider or public authority.

Ending use of Balrog does not automatically delete data held by Google, OpenAI or another provider. Use each provider's account controls to manage data retained by that provider.

We may update these terms when Balrog or applicable requirements change. We will publish the updated version at this URL and revise the effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Madrid, without limiting any mandatory rights or jurisdiction available to consumers under applicable law.
